I am the gift. Go within.

Ashley Bourgeois

I'm a Fresno native, raised in a traditional Mexican household. We didn't have much. We lived on Section 8 and food stamps, but we were never short on faith. That was the one thing my family gave me in abundance.

I grew up surrounded by strong women who held everything together. They figured out the money, the work, the children, and the household, and somehow they made it all hold. Watching them, I believed that holding it all together meant being in control, and that control was what made a woman strong and independent.

Motherhood taught me otherwise. I held it together through my first and second babies. When my third arrived, postpartum depression found me. I had always been the woman in control of her emotions, and suddenly I didn't recognize myself. I didn't know what was happening to me.

That season asked me to go deeper. I faced my limiting beliefs and the generational patterns I had carried without knowing it, and that is where everything changed. I began to live at a level I didn't know was possible. I learned to delegate. I learned to let go of control. I started speaking from my heart instead of from my conditioning. I was promoted again and again until I was earning almost $250K. Some would say I was living the life, making great money, having a great family, and having a beautiful home.

And still, something wasn't aligned. I had done the life coaching, the tools, the meditation. I kept searching outside myself for the bigger thing I knew was out there for me.

Then one day it clicked. I am the gift.

The answers were never out there. They were within me the whole time. That revelation is why Run the Rooms exists.

  • I am a multi-layered woman who lives in many rooms of herself.
  • I am not just a mom, a wife, or a title at a corporation.
  • I am feminine and masculine energy.
  • I am competitive, and I want the women around me to outgrow me while I cheer them on.
  • I am financially successful, and I am still learning.
  • I am always down for a good time, and I know my priorities.
  • I don't have to be just one thing, and neither do you.
