Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026. This is how Run the Rooms handles information in the app and on this website.
Bourgeois Management Group LLC operates the Run the Rooms app at runtherooms.xyz, on the web, on iPhone, and on Android, and this website at runtherooms.com.
Your notes stay yours. We do not sell personal information. We do not run ads. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. We use what you give us to run the rooms you asked for.
What we collect, and why
You give us most of this yourself, when you create an account or use a room. We collect it to provide that feature, and not for advertising.
- Account. Your name, email, and password, so you can sign in and we know the account is yours. Your password is handled by our sign-in service. We do not keep a readable copy of it.
- Onboarding answers. What you tell us when you start, so we can pick the focus rooms that fit your life.
- Journals and notes. Gratitude journal entries, dream journal entries, and scarcity-mindset notes. These are private. A dream entry can include an automatic interpretation, a scarcity note can include an automatic decoder reading, and the app can write a personalized read or prompt from what you submit. See Automatic readings below.
- Voice and other files. Voice notes you record, and other media you upload, are stored with your account. They are private, the same way your notes are.
- Money room. What you type into the budget workbook and the spending tracker. This is manual entry. We do not link to your bank, and we do not pull transactions from a bank or a card.
- Mind and body. Cycle dates, moods, and symptoms; nervous-system check-ins; and movement logs. These are for your own wellness picture inside the app. See Health and wellness below.
- Birth details. Birth date, time, and place, if you add them, so the horoscope and moon features can be calculated for you.
- Calendars, if you connect one. You can optionally connect Google Calendar or iCloud Calendar. If you do, we read events already on that calendar, and we can add events you create in the app. The connection token is stored encrypted. You can disconnect at any time.
- Reminders. Daily focus-room reminders can be a push notification or a local notification on your phone. For push, we store a device push token so the reminder can reach that device. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
- This website. The pages themselves do not ask you to create an account. If you apply for The Becoming Room, the form collects what you type there, such as your name, email, and your answers, so Ashley can read your application. The form is provided by FG Funnels.
This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request includes your IP address. We do not use it to advertise to you. Supabase and Vercel also receive ordinary connection details, such as an IP address, so they can deliver the app and this website and keep the connection secure. We do not use that for advertising.
The app keeps you signed in with a session from Supabase. That session is for your account. It is not an advertising tracker.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- Create and protect your account, and keep you signed in.
- Show you the rooms, journals, money tools, cycle and mood logs, horoscope, moon, and calendar features you use.
- Pick focus rooms from your onboarding answers, and send the daily focus-room reminder if you turn it on, by push or a local notification on your phone.
- Keep voice recordings and other media you add, so you can come back to them.
- Produce an automatic reading, only from the text sent for that reading. That includes a dream interpretation, a scarcity decoder reading, or a personalized read or prompt.
- Read and add calendar events when you have connected a calendar and asked the app to do that.
- Send account and signup emails, and reply when you apply for The Becoming Room or email us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app or on this website.
Automatic readings
Dream interpretations, the scarcity decoder, and personalized reads and prompts are written with Claude, from Anthropic. We send Anthropic only the text for that reading. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, that text is not used to train Anthropic's models. We do not sell those notes, and we do not use them for advertising.
A reading is a reflection tool. It is not therapy, medical advice, or financial advice.
Your notes stay private
Journals, notes, voice recordings, uploaded media, money entries, cycle and mood logs, check-ins, and birth details are private to your account. Other users cannot see them.
If Ashley has marked you as a client she is working with privately, you can choose Share with Ashley on a specific item. Only that item is shared, and only because you chose it. Nothing else in your account is shared by that choice.
Who we share it with
We share information with companies that help us run Run the Rooms. They process it for us. They are not allowed to use it for their own advertising.
- Supabase stores your account and the information you save in the rooms, and it handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the app and this website.
- Anthropic writes automatic readings with Claude. We send only the text for that reading. See Automatic readings above.
- Resend sends account and signup emails.
- Google Calendar, only if you connect it. Google Fonts serves the type on this website.
- Apple iCloud Calendar (CalDAV), only if you connect it.
- FG Funnels provides the application form on this website, only if you apply for The Becoming Room.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone from harm. If you use Share with Ashley, that one item is shared with her, as described above.
Google Calendar
If you connect Google Calendar, Run the Rooms uses that data only to show events from the calendar you connected and to add events you create in the app. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, and we do not sell it. The connection token is stored encrypted.
Run the Rooms' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Health and wellness
Cycle dates, moods, symptoms, nervous-system check-ins, and movement logs are there so you can notice your own patterns. They are for personal wellness only. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. We do not share this information for advertising.
The money room is a place to write your own numbers. It is not financial, legal, or tax advice.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open, because the app needs it to work. If you disconnect a calendar, we delete that connection and its token. If you delete your account, we delete the information listed under Delete your account.
We may keep a short record that you asked for deletion, and anything the law requires us to keep. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire. If you already shared an item with Ashley and you want that copy deleted too, say so when you email support.
Security
We limit who can access account information. Sign-in is handled by Supabase. Calendar connection tokens are stored encrypted. No way of storing information is perfect, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never happen. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
Delete your account
You can delete your account in the app, or by emailing support. Either way, we delete the account and the information stored with it.
In the app. Open the You tab, then choose Delete my account.
By email. Email support at help@runtherooms.com from the email address on the account. Put Delete my account in the subject line. We will confirm by email when it is done.
When the account is deleted, we delete:
- Your profile, including your name, email, and sign-in
- Onboarding answers
- Journals and notes, including dream interpretations, scarcity decoder readings, and personalized reads or prompts
- Voice recordings and other media you uploaded
- Budget workbook entries and spending tracker entries
- Cycle, mood, and symptom logs, movement logs, and nervous-system check-ins
- Birth date, time, and place
- Calendar connections and their tokens
- Notification settings and device push tokens
This section, at runtherooms.com/privacy#delete-account, is the public account-deletion page for the Google Play listing.
Children
Run the Rooms is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has given us information, we will delete it. Email help@runtherooms.com if you believe that has happened.
Your choices and your rights
You can update much of what you entered by using the app. You can disconnect a calendar in the app. You can delete your account from the You tab, under Delete my account, or by emailing support at help@runtherooms.com. You can also ask us to access or correct your information at that same address.
If you live in California, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have collected about you, to delete it, and to correct it. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently because you asked. Email help@runtherooms.com. We may need to confirm the request is yours before we complete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change matters to how we handle your information, we will also tell you in the app or by email when we reasonably can.
